The Anthropologist's Perspective of Argentina (Fact 3)

Alfajores are an Argentinian treat that can be found packaged individually in every Kiosco (street stalls) or in larger packages in most supermercados (established supermarket). An alfajore is a shortbread cookie sandwich with filling, typically dulce de leche. The cookies can be covered in white or milk chocolate, and some fancier alfajores are topped with nuts.
